Living the Life you Dream: Part II: A Quantum Perspective on Choosing Your Thoughts to Change Your Life

"I was exhilarated by the new realization that I could change the character of my life by changing my beliefs. I was instantly energized because I realized that there was a science-based path that would take me from my job as a perennial ‘victim’ to my new position as ‘co-creator’ of my destiny. (Prologue, xv)"
Bruce H. Lipton
Learning to love yourself is no easy task when you have been listening to voices telling you that you are no good. If you have been the 'victim' of such a tirade of insults either from yourself or others then you will know what it means to feel less than worthless. Yes, it's a feeling. A feeling that makes you behave in ways that undermine your self-worth. That notion is the single most important factor that enables a person to be free of its tyranny.
Beliefs such as "I am not worthy" keep us feeling worthless
In the previous article, I wrote about my journey to freedom and the emotional roller-coaster and scary feelings that it took to get there. Joe Dispenza encapsulates my experience by noting that "when we fully lay down the old, familiar life or mind and start creating the new, there is a moment between the two worlds that is bereft of anything we know, and most rush back from this void to the familiar. That place of uncertainty - the unknown - is what the maverick, the mystic, and the saint know to be fertile ground". This article will explain the way in which you can recognize this feeling and how you can use it make a loop-hole from which to design a new future.
Learning to Think
In recent years, the world and its people have largely learned to operate from a fear-based paradigm. This has caused an uproar in ways to defend, protect and fight against forces that instil a sense of fear, dread and impending doom. Manifest from this has been a whole raft of products, processes and positions that have led to the understanding of how to survive the beast within called fear. Waging war on your senses, these mechanisms have led to elements of yourself being unable to withstand the pressure and have consequently fallen prey to its workings (think fight or flight). When you focus on what you need to do differently, your body begins to re-program its behaviours to reflect the attitude you want to project. Therefore, it is the projection of your thoughts that are responsible for your freedom and not that they are responsible for your pain only, they can be used to project pleasure and the life you want immediately. The process of learning to love you life then, is that of engendering reasons to go forward and live the future as if it is happening now. That might be easier said than done, you might say, but the field of NLP has given us ways to use our bodies in a way that help us do just that (see Part I of this article).
Smiling on the Inside
The awareness you have of the internal thoughts, feelings and beliefs are an indication of where you place your attention. Generally, people are not aware of the thoughts that are keeping them stuck in the same old patterns and therefore, they keep thinking them and producing the same behaviours. And so it is this cycle that needs disrupting in order to understand the motion that moving into a new future can bring. Dr Joe Dispenza of What the Bleep fame, has created a body of work that shows how the brain can disconnect neurons no longer in use and fire new connections that transcend the present reality to create a new future reality. The quantum field has a lot to do with this process and the act of tapping into it releases energy from the past and frees up energy for the future production of life experiences. In mystical traditions it is known as manifestation. In order to de-mystify the process of manifestation, it is first necessary to understand the ideas that support its framework.
The Mainframe of Ideas
Ideas that support the future of reality experiences are such that they engender the processes that support their function. In this regard the following ideas have strength in their capacity to undermine neuronal firings that support old patterns of behaviour.
One of the biggest lies we have come to believe about ourselves and our true nature is that we are nothing more than
physical beings defined by a material reality, devoid of dimension and vital energy, and separate from God-which I trust you know by now is within us and all around us. To keep the truth about our real identity from us is not only enslaving,
but it asserts that we are finite beings living a linear life that lacks real meaning.
Dr Joe Dispenza
The idea that time is linear is why most people don't know how to tune into their inner most greatness. That time has stolen their identity is a great travesty due to its linearity in the perceptions of the human mind. When a lion is hungry, it knows it's time to hunt. When a woman is pregnant, she knows it's time to give birth when pains start to show up every other minute. Nature has a way of letting us know when it's time to act. So when humans begin to transcend time in the form of meditation, we can begin to create a bond with the aspects of ourselves that generate a sense of timelessness in which nothing and nobody exists, not even us. It is in this timeless space that energy responds to our desires and where the field of all possibilities exist.
sitting meditation
So you can imagine that what we think about most of the time gets translated into matter according to the beliefs that created it. So in that sense, it would make sense to use that space for creative projects instead of rehashing old behaviours over and over again. This is why meditation has a place in everyone's lives and not just for the enlightened few. Being a beacon as to your own greatness is the primary function of this idea.
Exposure to stimuli necessarily creates a response based on past events due to its remembered function in the name of survival. But the neuronal effects of the outputs tend to obliterate any potential for future outcomes in the light of there not being enough potential to create according to Dr Joe Dispenza. So in so far as creating new energy imprints are concerned, they cannot compete and therefore will not produce the outcomes that are desired by the individual. In order to be able to use the logic of potentials, one must first decide to enliven the space within action potentials by erasing memories from the neurons that support old belief patterns and behaviours.
It is through this mechanism that new thoughts and ideas can be processed and used in the name of future potentials. The actual practice can be obtained from the website of Dr Joe Dispenza (see below). In faith, you will have the means by which you can create your reality. Not just a reality that is filled with stuff, but a reality that is based on the most exquisite moments money cannot buy. For those of you who wish to take this further or become part of an experiment to show how using the mind can create change and physical healing, then I would direct you to the work of three eminent scientists: Dr Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, cell biologist and Greg Braden. In freeing your mind, you will have the ability to create a richness of life that has never been a part of your experience before now. Emulating heroes, gaining traction on ideas and getting attention in the right frame of mind are just some of the steps you can take to manifest some life areas where you want to have more choice, more abundance and more wealth.
The best way to understand a new way of being is to emulate a hero in terms of the qualities they represent that you wish to express. What is it that they do that makes you want to be them? How can you focus more deeply and clearly on the qualities they possess? Perhaps you can mirror their body language or copy their tone of voice. How would it make you feel to be in their shoes? What if you could have a birds-eye view of how they see the world? How would you evaluate your life and create new outcomes from that perspective? These are just some of the ideas that can help you view things from a different perspective. The process therefore is that of gaining momentum from the perspective of a quantum observer and to question the old paradigm without judgment of its consequences.
Why has it taken so long for the ancient mystics to get their message across? It's because the ability of the people to understand the process of change has been limited to that of theory and philosophic speculation. At least now it is possible to learn how to embody the process so that it becomes a living breathing part of who you are. Changing your chemistry by thinking new thoughts, feeling new feelings and behaving in new ways will ensure that you have the tools for new beginnings that lead to new future possibilities that only you can create with the power of your own thinking brain.
Re-thinking your future will create new learnings in the brain through firing and wiring together new synaptic connections that require repetition in order to maintain and re-enforce new experiences.
The brain can help orchestrate events in the body that represent desired states that mirror the brand of success you want to experience. If it's wealth, be wealth, if it's love, be love. Freedom? be freedom and yes, if it's change, be the change. Change from a dualistic paradigm of fear to one of unity consciousness that permeates your being and reflects your external reality in ways that create magick, synchronicity and peace.

If you know that life has already given you all you need to succeed, then why would you worry about not getting what you want? It stands to reason then, that changing your mind to create a new future and live the dream you have created is the essence of becoming the person you have always wanted to be. Why wait any longer?
