This is the third part of the Lovers Journey, continued from Part I and Part II.
4 Wands - Commitment to Self/Wholeness (Fire Element)
The four of wands represents a Union of Souls that enables communication at a level not noticed by individuals previously. The castle in the background represents the fortitude with which we generate our communication elements such as truth, compassion and unconditional love. The celebration of such events can be seen in the background with people gathering to admire the efforts of those who have moved through the gazebo adorned with roses and ribbons.
The wands representing fire which related to our thoughts, ideas and inspirations, point towards the ability to change our thoughts to something more robust, generative and creative. Therefore the two figures beckoning us to enter through to the other side are waiting in anticipation as pure potential. The four of wands represents the core qualities of faith, stability and trust. In terms of relationships, this is what we need to cultivate in our own communication with ourselves, which then allows us to make better decisions when it comes to communicating with others.
The Hierophant - Commitment to Another
The Hierophant suggest that we need to commit to a life of potential and therefore build a solid foundation from which to create a sacrosanct life. The two monks are pledging their allegiance to something greater to the sum of their individual parts and are taking it seriously as the expression the face of the Hierophant suggests. The sacrosanct marriage of Union with something greater than ourselves indicates a desire to be of service to humanity and its higher evolvement. Are you committed to love in all its forms? Are you ready to make life an adventure of heart based being inside a creative place of love, light and harmony?
Knight of Swords
The Knight of Swords is clothed in armour that suggest a readiness to do battle with his innermost thoughts. Swords are representative of the mental aspects of the psyche and therefore is the element that can direct and steer his charge towards his ultimate goal. There are red and yellow butterflies on the neck of his charge indicating passion and purpose. His cape is flowing in the wind caused by the movement of his galloping steed. There is a sense of urgency and determination of both as they charge towards the outcome of their desires. The sword in his right hand is ready to cut away anything that stands in the way. The red gloved hand steers the charge with clarity and confidence. He is on his way. His arrival is imminent.
7 Pentacles ®
The seven of pentacles suggest a lot of hard work has been accomplished and the figure is contemplating what to do next. His feet are firmly on the ground as suggested by the pentacles that represent the element of earth. Seven gold pentacles are atop a green bush which is fully grown and matured. Only one pentacle remains to be done something with. This is a time of reflection and a chance to stand back and admire the work done so far. A time to notice what works and what needs to be improved. How have things manifest in his life according to his plans or ideas?
2 of Pentacles
The two of pentacles represents an earth bound focus of contemplation between two options. Stay safe and secure or take a risk of getting reward beyond his dreams. Behind is a ship on rough seas which represent the emotional risk. He is wearing orange which represent the sacral chakra where emotions are stored. One foot is raised and potentially moving towards the back in the direction of the sea. The other foot is on firm ground where it is stable and solid. The green shoes and the green infinity symbol encasing the pentacles is showing him the solution to follow his heart as his head is too much in the physical 3D as are his arms, legs and body. But the overall colour is heart chakra green. The ship in the background mirrors the gold pentacles in two gold sails which represent personal power, courage and empowerment. Will he follow his heart or will he stay safe and live a life of predictive sameness?
