Complementary / Alternative Cancer Therapies Conference:  March 3-5

The Annie Appleseed Project's mission is to provide information, education, advocacy and awareness for people with cancer about natural therapies/substances, lifestyle issues, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), and other issues from the patient perspective. The course comprises of 20 sessions will be held over 10 weekends throughout the year, at our two beautiful new venues in London or Southampton. It focuses on the vitality of the body, with a commitment to learning that is both informative and enjoyable. Particular attention is paid to relating structure and function to the living body.

There is an emphasis on practical elements, and experiential work designed to facilitate your own body awareness is a major theme. The course incorporates unique teaching styles including practical exercises in touch and palpation skills, surface and deep anatomy, body movement and mobility testing to give participants an experiential understanding of the work being covered.

The material presented provides an ideal foundation for those who wish to study on our Dry Needling and Colon Irrigation courses. This course is lectured by the top leading Osteopaths and Naturopaths in the country.

Tragedy behind Fitness Champion Joey Bull's New DVD

Less than 12 months after tragically losing her baby during delivery, top international trainer and a four times UK Fitness Champion Joey Bull filmed and released her latest workout DVD.

Joey was left physically and mentally shattered after a full term pregnancy resulted in the death of her baby during the latter stages of labour. A ruptured womb and messy caesarean added significant physical trauma to the overwhelming mental anguish.

And despite Joey's lifetime in all-action fitness competition, Adventure Athletics and training of  children and first time exercisers to rock stars and athletes which has seen her battle all manner of odds including knee reconstruction and life threatening inhospitable terrain, nothing could prepare her for the greatest loss.
