Alison Denham, BA (Soc), MNIMH, President, National Institute of Medical Herbalists, has been a herbal practitioner in Leeds since 1984. She is Senior Lecturer on BSc course in Herbal Medicine at University of Central Lancashire. Her interests include appropriate research methods for herbal medicine, clinical audit and quality and safety of medicinal plants. She is Co-founder of Silphion Project to promote conservation and cultivation of medicinal plants
