About Celia Harper
Celia Harper, BA Hons Music, ARCM, Reiki Master, is a well-known continuo player and was for many years associated with Kent Opera's baroque productions under Sir Roger Norrington. She plays early keyboards and double harp, and in addition has worked with young European singers on early music style. She has had works performed in Clifton Cathedral, at Canterbury, Presteigne, Spitalfields, Brighton and Newbury Festivals. Commissions include Icarus, a work for children and orchestra, Maranatha, a prayer cantata for the bereaved, a setting of Funeral Sentences and a work for the Joyful Company of Singers and flautist Philippa Davies.
