About John Ortiz Ph.D
John M. Ortiz, Ph.D., Director of The Institute of Applied Psychomusicology, is a licensed psychologist, consultant, certified clinical hypnotist and psychoeducational trainer residing in central Pennsylvania. He is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, and serves on the editorial board of the American Counselling Association's Journal of Counselling and Development. A musician, composer, martial artist, and author of The Tao of Music: Using Music to Change Your Life, Dr. Ortiz conducts workshops and lectures on Sound Psychology at national and international levels.
