Laurie Gee is an ITEC trained Therapeutic Masseur and Sports Therapist and also holds a diploma from the London School of Sports Massage. Laurie organized sports massage at the Great South Run in the early 1990s and later at the South Coast Marathon. In 1992 Laurie's clients included athletes such as Tom Buckner, who represented Britain in the Olympics, Commonwealth Games and World Championships in steeple chase. Laurie later treated Dave Faulkner, Olympic gold medalist, and Amanda Larby (now Purser) World championship gold medalist, and many other top athletes.
