About Lucy Grant
Born in Boston and educated in Europe and North America, Lucy Grant moved to Devon in 1981 to train as a teacher of the F.M. Alexander Technique. She received her certificate in 1984. Lessons in the technique had helped solve a back problem that had plagued her, at times to the point of incapacitation, for 10 years. In 1988, she bought and set up The Complementary Health Centre in Exeter, which now has over 25 practitioners, and has been running it as well as teaching the Alexander Technique. She finds working within a group of committed practitioners the most exciting and rewarding way to practice her discipline, and offer clients the best possible care.
