Melissa J. Roth, CHt., DCH(c) has an undergraduate degree in pre-med. She did graduate work in pharmacy and pharmacology. and is currently a Doctor of Clinical Hypnotherapy candidate through the American Institute of Hypnotherapy. She learned hypnosis in 1971 as an undergraduate student and finally got certified in 1986. She is certified through the American Board of Hypnotherapy, The National Guild of Hypnotists and The National League of Medical Hypno- therapists. "I developed this therapy program in response to my own need. I suffered with severe IBS symptoms for 8 years. I was virtually house bound due to pain and fecal incontinence.
