How I drastically reduced social anxiety and negative thoughts through mindfulness In this post, I am going to give you the painstaking details on exactly how I greatly reduced my social anxiety and negative thoughts in a very short period of time. Negative emotions such as shame and anxiety, and negative thoughts such as ‘’I’m not smart enough”, or “I’m not good-looking enough”, can have a significant impact on your life. While the conventional tricks (such as exercising more, eating healthy and congratulating yourself on small achievements) can often provide some relief, it usually doesn’t tackle the problem at its root. So what does? How did I manage to overcome the anxiety that had such a big impact on my life for such a long time? Well… It’s called “The Television Technique”. Practicing this technique almost guarantees that you’ll be able to liberate yourself from the negative thoughts and emotions that are the cause of your anxiety.

The Sanctuary
‘The Sanctuary’ …. the holiest and most sacred part of a church or temple, which in spiritual terms is understood to exist within the heart. It denotes a place of refuge from the stresses and strains of life, accessible to all who truly seek it. The chapter of St. Raphael is a part of the Order of Dionysis & Paul, a religious order within the Holy Celtic Church, consisting of men and women, dedicated to living the contemplative life whilst dwelling in the secular world. The work of the chapter of St. Raphael is to encourage and assist its members to enter the ‘Presence of God’ by instructing them in the spiritual disciplines of Prayer and Meditation, Contemplation, Study and charitable works. The Community The community of the chapter of St. Raphael, consists of men and women dedicated to the work of spiritual development through the path of meditation and contemplation. The structure of the chapter adheres to that of the Order of Dionysis & Paul, which like many traditional religious orders, is based upon degrees of commitment and ability, and consists of Lay-members, Novices and Professed-members. The Fellowship is essentially a study society focused upon studying the spiritual life. Membership requires no vows or obligation other than tolerance and good manners. In general terms both Lay-members and Novices also belong to the Fellowship, which allows members to engage in discussion about the subject matter of the curriculum, and a forum wherein Lay-members and Novices are educated in spiritual traditions, and the life of the Holy Celtic Church.
