Conclusion
Manual lymphatic drainage is the best treatment, when combined with other supporting techniques, for chronic venous and lymphatic stasis of the lower limbs . Its main use is in primary and secondary lymphoedema, but it is also useful in chronic venous disease, and in certain cases of acute venous thrombosis and traumatic or post-traumatic pain .
