Group-I underwent selected yoga practices, group-II received medical treatment by the physician of the hospital and the control group did not participate in any treatment stimuli. Yoga was performed in the morning and in the evening with 1 hr/session per day for a total period of 11 weeks. Medical treatment consisted of the usual medication every day for the whole experimental period.
