Abstract
TANDON and colleagues, Department of Human Nutrition, All India of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, India, reviewed (32 references) the role of micronutrients and trace elements in laryngeal cancer .
Background
Cancer of the larynx is the 14th most common cancer in the world. Case-control studies conducted in developed as well as developing countries have produced evidence suggesting that specific micronutrients and trace elements may be significantly associated with laryngeal cancer.
