HOMEOPATHY

The first consultation is fairly lengthy because a full case history is taken. Some questions may appear unrelated to the presenting complaint but this is because a homeopath is trained to treat the whole person, not just one part. For example you might be suffering from a lack of energy and a problem with the right shoulder and after careful consideration of your case, a remedy would be selected that could help to alleviate the symptoms of both these complaints.

There are no right or wrong answers to any of the questions that you may be asked - this is because you are an individual and your remedy is chosen to suit you and your complaint.

Homeopathic remedies can be prescribed in pill or liquid format and can be taken by people of all ages and they do not interfere with any medication prescribed by a GP.

Following on from your initial consultation, an appointment is made to review the case approximately four weeks later.

During my years in practice I have seen a large number of people with a variety of symptoms of illnesses such as acne, asthma, anxiety, arthritis, stress, female problems including infertility, eczema and psoriasis, rhinitis, hay fever and other hay fever/seasonal/environmental sensitivities, candida, ME, IBS, Migraine, Crohn's disease, and many more. Please note that as a homeopath I seek to alleviate the symptoms you present with irrespective of the illness you may have been diagnosed with.

CEASE Therapy

CEASE stands for Complete Elimination of Autism Spectrum Expression. It is a method that was developed by Tinus Smits M.D.(1946-2010) a homeopath following many years of research.

Many children have been diagnosed with autism or other similar disorders such as ADD, ADHD, that come under this spectrum. The aim of CEASE therapy is to discover what may have been the trigger for people with this type of tendency and to use a range of methods that include supplementation and homeopathy to improve their behaviour issues and help them to integrate with their peers.

CEASE is not a therapy that gives instantaneous results. It takes time to address the sensitivity of the person and uncover the triggers and therefore people who wish to undertake this therapy need to be committed to the process.

I am a certified CEASE therapy practitioner also qualified in Homeopathy, Nutrition, Iridology and Reiki.

Bio-Meridian Vantage Health Screening

The BioMeridian Vantage system is a non-invasive health screening assessment of the body's energy meridians (channels) to determine how well the organs and tissues of your body are functioning. At the end of the consultation you will be handed a printed sheet together with a recommended nutritional supplementation programme.

*Please note that testing with the Bio-Meridian Vantage system CANNOT be carried out on anyone who is pregnant, wearing a pace-maker or suffering with epilepsy and there may be times when additional specialised testing is recommended*
