Positive Health PH Online August Issue 288 is published 27 July 2023. The big picture is not a happy one with the continuation of the war in Ukraine, escalating with Russia’s termination of the UN deal ensuring safe passage for grain shipments crossing the Black Sea, also stating it would treat ships heading for Ukrainian ports as potential military targets. Industrial action – strikes are affecting Education, Nursing, NHS Junior and Senior Doctors and Transport services, impacting all of our lives. Not a good look!
Closer to home and to PH Online hearts – we pay tribute and publish obituaries to the visionary and giant Jan Kuśmirek and pioneer and entrepreneur Thrity Engineer, founder of the Supercoherence System and co-creator of the Supercoherence Return To Love Frequencies.

Nancy Blake in her ground-breaking and thought-provoking article Suicide – The Conversation You Need to Have speaks the truth about this vital subject so often kept hidden under the carpet.
“If you really intend to make yourself dead, no one can stop you.
“People can make themselves dead no matter what their circumstances are. They do it all the time, even in hospital, or prison - even under suicide watch. We need to establish, right now, that if you want to make yourself dead, you’ll be able to find a way to do it. The power, and the responsibility, rest with you.
“As professionals, as parents, as friends, we need to be able to protect ourselves from ever being in the false position of the one who can be good enough, loving enough, clever enough – to win the struggle to keep someone alive who wants to be dead.
“Paradoxically, we need to be prepared to take seriously the person who tells us they wish they were dead, or fears that they might take their own life.”

Meleni Aldridge Executive Coordinator, Director Alliance for Natural Health International, in her article Get Fat Happy shines a light on one of the biggest health untruths fed to all of us for decades, despite scientific and clinical research evidence to the contrary.
“Food is big business globally. Into the multiple trillions kind of big. Food is also something every human needs and can’t do without for very long, so it’s not surprising that corporate marketing budgets can be obscene and competition for consumer spend, intense, and often, dirty. One of the dirtiest marketing campaigns in our recent history, that continues to wreak havoc on people’s health, surrounds the myths, lies, fallacies and omissions about dietary fats. This includes the fats we eat in our everyday diets like butter, cheese, cooking oils, nuts, avocados and meats…
“One of the greatest omissions in public health messaging about fats is that they’re essential for human health, and particularly brain health. It’s not your fault if you still feel a little hesitant when eating dietary fat, or confused about which fats really are healthy and which ones you should avoid. People have been subjected to a dedicated, targeted, mass conditioning over the last 40-50 years which presents dietary fats, some more than others, as a threat. The fact that they have been an essential macronutrient (unlike carbohydrates – but that’s another story) for at least 2 million years, and are responsible for ensuring our forebears’ survival (so we could be here), seems to have been neatly edited out of the science texts.”
